My background is in business ownership and operations. For over 25 years, I have run and grown my family business Angling Active, from around £1m to £6m+ in revenue. That journey has involved real decisions, real risk and real responsibility – managing people, cash flow, stock, margins, systems, customer behavior, changing markets and the constant pressure of remaining profitable.
I am not a career investor or a corporate adviser. I am a business owner who understands what it takes to build value over time.
I am particularly interested in owner-managed businesses with strong fundamentals, clear growth potential and a founder or team who would benefit from more than just capital. My experience is most relevant in e-commerce SASS solutions or product-led businesses where operations, people, systems or commercial focus can unlock the next stage of growth.
Typical investment range: £10,000–£50,000
